Act as Infrastructure Applications Management Process Owner, developing and maintaining architecture designs, runbooks, policies, processes, procedures and support documentation.
Design, plan, and implement new infrastructure technologies and major system enhancements.
Lead or contribute to complex solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
Develop and maintain infrastructure roadmaps and system lifecycle milestones.
Collaborate with business units, IT architects, application teams, vendor management, and operations.
Evaluate and manage release, deployment, and lifecycle management practices.
Analyze availability, reliability, maintainability, and serviceability of services and systems.
Present recommendations on new and emerging technologies to senior leadership, clearly articulating business value.
Promote standardization and automation to improve operational efficiency.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Mentor and coach team members, acting as a technical role model and knowledge leader.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in a relevant IT role.
Strong understanding of infrastructure and development lifecycles.
Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating solutions in Azure and on-premises.
Strong knowledge of Azure core services and PaaS offerings, enterprise hardware/software systems (Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware vSphere) and software engineering processes.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Education: University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
Language Skills: English (Spoken and Written) required. French (Spoken and Written) considered an asset.
Security Clearance Requirement: In conjunction with our contract with the Federal Government, you will be required to have Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B).
