Develops NNI's policy positions, in line with Enterprise Strategy
Manages relationships with select government agencies
Serves as a subject matter expert
Solicits internal stakeholder insights to analyze the business impact of select policy proposals – to NNI and the broader industry
Educates and enables broader PA Team and NNI business to leverage these positions
Collaborates and coordinates with peers and cross-functional colleagues locally and globally
Achieve deep understanding of, and serve as a subject matter expert on, assigned policy areas and the potential impact to NNI’s business
Clearly communicate with federal agencies on NNI’s positions
Build and maintain strategic networks of relationships internally (locally and globally)

Bachelor's degree required
advanced degree preferred
10+ years of policy development, advocacy, government affairs or other relevant experience required
Pharmaceutical/healthcare industry experience and knowledge of NNI’s therapeutic areas and marketplace strongly preferred
Strong executive presence and communication/presentation skills that engage senior leaders among internal and external audiences
Strong writing skills and ability to convey complex topics for an executive audience
Demonstrated career progression with increasing roles of responsibility
Proven track record of effective strategic planning, execution and follow up
Previous experience working in a matrixed organizational structure
