Director, Schedule and Facilities Planning to lead and grow our internal scheduling and facilities planning capabilities in support of complex semiconductor construction and advanced manufacturing programs. This senior leadership role will oversee schedule integration, facilities planning, and facilities modeling across multiple projects while building and guiding a high performing team of planning professionals.
The Director will initially support a major Advanced Testing and Packaging semiconductor facility in Peoria, Arizona, helping drive schedule integration and facilities planning efforts for this critical project while establishing scalable planning practices that support WWPS projects nationwide.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing integrated project scheduling, facilities planning, and facilities modeling across the project lifecycle. The Director will also manage a team of planning and scheduling professionals responsible for coordinating complex construction, infrastructure, and operational planning activities.
The role may be based in the Phoenix or Portland metro areas and will operate in a hybrid model, working remotely with travel to the Peoria project site as needed.
Key Responsibilities: Schedule Integration Leadership
- Lead the development and management of the integrated master schedule across multiple project scopes including base build construction, facilities infrastructure, tool installation, and operational readiness.
- Coordinate schedule integration between construction teams, engineering partners, equipment suppliers, and project leadership.
- Ensure schedule alignment with key construction milestones, commissioning activities, and manufacturing ramp timelines.
- Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project objectives.
- Oversee schedule forecasting, milestone tracking, change management, and schedule performance reporting.
Facilities Planning and Modeling
- Lead facilities planning and capacity modeling to support long term operational strategy for the manufacturing facility.
- Develop and maintain facilities models used to evaluate capacity planning, infrastructure readiness, and facility utilization.
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to ensure facilities planning aligns with production ramp and operational requirements.
- Support scenario modeling and long term planning to optimize facility performance and scalability.
Cross Functional Project Coordination
- Collaborate closely with construction leadership, engineering teams, equipment vendors, and owner representatives to ensure alignment between construction execution and operational readiness.
- Facilitate coordination across disciplines to ensure schedule integration and facility readiness remain aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide executive level updates regarding schedule performance, facilities readiness, and project risks.
Team Leadership
- Lead and manage a team responsible for schedule coordination, planning analysis, and facilities modeling.
- Establish planning standards, processes, and best practices for schedule integration and facilities planning.
- Mentor and develop team members while fostering a collaborative, high performance environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Semiconductor industry experience is required. Candidates must have direct experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing or semiconductor construction projects.
- 10+ years of experience supporting complex capital projects in semiconductor manufacturing or similar advanced technology environments.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing planning, scheduling, or facilities strategy teams.
- Deep understanding of schedule integration across large scale construction and manufacturing projects.
- Experience coordinating construction execution with operational readiness in complex manufacturing facilities.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to evaluate schedule risks and operational impacts.
