Role Overview
- Manage the company’s accounting and financial statements preparation
- Ensure accurate financial records are maintained
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting processing
- Collaborate with other departments to prepare reliable financial information
- Analyze and prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements and required schedules for management reports
- Prepare adhoc analysis and reports for senior management and Board of Directors
- Lead the year-end external audit and collaboration with actuaries
Requirements
- CPA designation
- 5 years of progressive experience in the accounting and finance function
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with sophisticated ERP system
- Insurance background is an asset
- Knowledge of IFRS 17 is an asset
- Access to High-Speed Internet connection at home is essential
