Role Overview
- Monthly Payroll Processing: Prepare monthly payrolls for Ireland & UK.
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable: Process supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations as well as management of expenses for Ireland.
- General Ledger & Month-End Closing: Post journal entries and maintain accurate GL records.
- Multiple Bank Reconciliations: Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations, including Commercial banks and Client Funds Accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Supporting preparation of management reports, cost analysis, variance analysis, and reconciliations.
- Compliance & Controls: Maintain adherence to internal controls and company policies.
Requirements
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, SKWP, or equivalent).
- Payroll qualification is a bonus
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant accounting & payroll experience.
- Strong working knowledge of FRS standards and Irish accounting practices.
- Proven experience in AR/AP/GL and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, Parolla an advantage).
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
