Role Overview
- Monitoring of broadband networks
- Phone contact (hotline) for upstream service providers
- Installation, configuration and commissioning of broadband network elements
- Coordination of upstream service providers for fault resolution of network elements and infrastructure
- Monitoring of internal servers
- Work in an attractive shift schedule including on-call duty
Requirements
- Vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration or a comparable technical qualification
- Experience in routing, switching and operating network infrastructures
- Knowledge of network protocols (Ethernet, IPv4, IPv6, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, PPP, L2TP, RADIUS)
- Experience with network elements (Cisco, Juniper, Nokia)
- Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux
- Proactive and responsible working style
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
