Act as the main point of contact for the Deputy Minister's Office (DMO)
Provide strategic support, advice, and assistance within the Operations team and Executive Council
Manage high profile/sensitive issues and engage with industry and external service providers
Ensure alignment of Executive Council initiatives with government priorities
Contribute to overall planning, strategic direction, and operational functions

Significant related senior management leadership experience in an executive environment
Strong systems thinking lens
Understanding of policy and legislation
Issues management skills
Skills in managing multiple related programs
Experience handling high-profile/sensitive issues
Strong understanding of Government of Alberta processes, including budgeting and forecasting cycles
Exceptional communication skills and influence
Cross-ministry experience
Procurement knowledge would be an asset
Related post-secondary education required
