Responsible for the administration of one or more of the following data systems: Computer systems hardware, software, information systems & peripheral equipment such as servers, desktops, printers and storage devices.
Maintains installs, upgrades and configures data systems, administers operating systems, and maintains basic security and recovery procedures such as scheduling and backups.
Performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field.
Displays core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.
Responsible for managing multiple IT vendors to ensure completion of IT projects in a timely manner.
At times will also be called upon to perform tasks outside of IT to ensure the mission is successful.
Requirements
Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a NACI.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Green Card holder who has lived within the United States for at least the last 3 years.
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and at least 2 years of directly related IT experience.
A High School Diploma and an additional 5 years of directly related IT experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Requires knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP networking principals in a Microsoft Environment to include network topologies and transmission media, i.e. fiber, copper, satellite and Wi-Fi.
Must have a current driver’s license.
Must be willing and physically able to deploy to various project locations at short notice.
Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
