Fractional IT Administrator

Role Overview

• Be the first point of contact for IT issues across the team
• Resolve issues quickly and clearly
• Build self-service documentation
• Own IT provisioning for every new hire
• Maintain onboarding checklists
• Administer Google Workspace and 1Password
• Maintain admin ownership across the broader tool stack
• Conduct periodic access audits
• Document and enforce practical security policies
• Flag risks proactively

Requirements

• Experienced managing access and identity in a SaaS-heavy, remote-first environment
• Google Workspace admin with real depth
• group structure, security settings, shared drive governance, and audit logs.
• 1Password or equivalent
• vault design, access policy, and secure credential sharing.
• Comfortable with zero trust security in a no-VPN, BYOD environment.
• Responsive and clear communicator
• Self-directed and organized
• Comfortable with ambiguity
• Tailscale or similar zero trust network access experience is a plus.
