Guiding your team through complex technical challenges, including scalable backend architecture, billing systems, and platform service decomposition
Owning the team’s technical roadmap, project delivery, and development practices
Coaching and growing backend engineers while fostering a culture of pragmatic technical excellence
Partnering cross-functionally with Product, Finance, and other specialties to deliver high-impact monetisation initiatives
Contributing to the codebase and architectural decision-making while scaling your leadership

You bring backend expertise at the intersection of product, growth, and platform — ideally with experience in financial systems
You’ve led backend engineering teams, balancing people leadership with technical delivery
You have experience working with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud infrastructure (especially AWS)
You’re comfortable with object-oriented programming languages like Java
You thrive in ambiguity and know how to turn complex problems into scalable systems
You’re passionate about inclusive team culture and enabling cross-functional success
You can explain technical concepts clearly across diverse stakeholder groups
