Prepare membership and asset data for actuarial valuations conscientiously
Apply and interpret pension benefit calculations in accordance with plan provisions and legislative requirements
Work with pension databases to ensure data accuracy
Attend internal training sessions to stay updated on industry trends and topics
Participate in client meetings and presentations to add value
Assist with special projects as required to support team goals
Requirements
3 to 5 years of Defined Benefit pension administration experience (including complex retirement, termination, death, and marriage breakdown calculations)
Post-secondary education (preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science) or relevant courses related to Pension Administration
Advanced knowledge of Defined Benefit pension plans and provincial pension and tax legislation
Experience reviewing pension calculations and member transactions
The ability to lead projects, taking ownership and accountability for assigned tasks
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with ease
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
