Conceptual, organizational, personnel and financial responsibility for the Finance department
Continuation of the change process and support for the digitalization of the finance function
Support in the implementation of an electronic document management system (DMS)
Advising and supporting the department management on strategic issues, financial planning and value creation
Process design and cost calculations for grant-funded projects
Bank correspondence, liquidity tracking and asset/investment planning
Coordination and negotiation with financial service providers
Coordination of the internal preparation of the annual financial statements
Evaluation and modernization of organization-wide financial processes, policies and general procedures
Requirements
Completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration or a related field with a focus on cost accounting/controlling/financial management
At least 5 years of professional experience in financial management, consulting or controlling
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel/Excel Pivot and/or other controlling and planning software
Experience with digitization processes and change management
Very good knowledge of and confident use of at least one common accounting software (ideally Sage100 or DATEV)
Solid knowledge of commercial and tax law; knowledge of grant funding regulations is advantageous
