Work closely with Commercial, Supply Chain and Operations collegues to build a plan to drive sales growth, establish goals, track, analyze & monitor results
Consistently prospect, qualify / disqualify to prioritize the highest potentials for new business
Prioritize the best opportunities based on the customer, sales cycle, budget, timeline & business fit
Work with QA, operations and supply chain to identify & solve customer problems, elevating to ensure when necessary to ensure customer needs are met.
Develop pricing and quoting acumen to respond to customer’s needs using a complete market perspective
Over time, become a subject matter expert on Carmeuse’s products to help guide customers to the best solution based on their requirements
Attend conferences, tradeshows, and industry events to build knowledge and relationships
Monitor competitive activity and gather market intelligence to provide regular updates on opportunities and threats
Learn & embrace the Carmeuse’s professional selling process
Maintain accurate and detailed customer, prospect and opportunity records using the Carmeuse’s CRM system
Generate and maintain accurate forecasts
Provide recommendations for product and service enhancements
Requirements
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors Degree in Business or related field
3+ years of successful B2B sales, construction or aggregates sales a plus
Business development experience in construction or associated industry a plus
Travel 60% of time
Regular office presence required to build rapport and collaboration
