Preparation and review of financial statements, including the income statements and balance sheets for each division.
Ensure all financial information is accurate, consistent, and compliant with accounting principles and applicable regulations.
Participate in audit engagements and compliance activities, including the transition to IFRS.
Month-end journal entries and allocations: includes general ledger reconciliations, recording journal entries, and allocating payroll and costs by department.
Management of accrued liabilities related to bonuses/commissions and allowance for doubtful accounts (AFDA) provisions.
Preparation of payroll reports and tax/transfer pricing journal entries.
Finalize monthly entries, reconcile the balance sheet and bank accounts.
Analyze the income statement and prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows).
Review results with controller commentary, improve processes, and document financial procedures.
Perform in-depth financial analysis by comparing actual results to budgeted figures and providing variance analysis.
Preparation of rolling/active forecasts: develop and maintain the annual budgeting process and regularly update forecasts.
Collaborate with department heads to collect relevant data and assumptions.
Cash flow reporting and analysis.
Preparation of the MBR Deck report.
Churn rate reporting.
Financial integration during acquisitions and system migrations.
Accounting summary documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an accounting
or finance-related role.
Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
Practical experience with NetSuite ERP (transactional and reporting modules) is considered an asset.
Advanced Excel skills and proven data analysis capabilities (e.g., pivot tables, Power Query, data visualization).
Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
