Processing monthly and off cycle payrolls for an international employee population, ensuring accuracy and timely execution
Completing all tax withholding notices for all federal, state, and local authorities that affect payroll
Ensuring timely resolution of all tax notices; handling the setup and configuration of tax codes in payroll system
Ensuring accurate and timely processing of all garnishment notices including written responses, garnishment deduction setup, and document management
Reviewing and auditing the time keeping system for accuracy and preparing files for import into the payroll system
Researching payroll issues concerning earnings, deductions, taxes, etc. and effectively communicating the results of that research to employees
Ensuring a high level of customer service is provided to both internal and external customers
Supporting the development, updating and monitoring of all internal controls to accurately report financial information for the payroll department
Partnering with Human Resources, Accounting, Tax, Legal and various other functional areas, to provide data and reports as needed and ensuring responsive resolution of employee payroll issues/inquiries
Supporting various initiatives related to payroll including mergers and acquisitions, international expansion, process improvements, financial and regulatory audits, etc.
Requirements
Fluency in written and spoken English at CEFR B2 level or above
At least 3 years of prior relevant payroll experience for a mid-size company with employees in the LATAM region
Familiarity with LATAM international payroll tax withholding
Excellent oral and written communication, presentation skills, and relationship management
Proven experience with Ultipro and UKG OneView or a similar HRIS and Payroll system
Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
