About this role
Role Overview
Analyze balance sheets and financial statements of financial institutions, identifying trends, risks, and key points of attention
Assess prudential indicators, capital structure, liquidity, portfolio quality, and other metrics relevant to understanding the risk profile of financial institutions
Link macroeconomic movements — such as interest rates, exchange rates, and economic activity — to potential impacts on financial institutions’ balance sheets
Monitor news, events, and relevant information that may affect the financial health or risk profile of analyzed institutions
Prepare technical reports and communications for different audiences and credit committees, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and objectivity
Deliver presentations to Committees, Risk areas, other business units, and Cooperatives, structuring analyses and recommendations clearly and with solid rationale
Requirements
Strong knowledge of bank accounting, prudential indicators, and capital structure
Ability to interpret economic scenarios and their impacts on the financial sector
Analytical and investigative profile with structured reasoning
Good verbal communication, ability to synthesize, and clarity when presenting ideas
Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Accounting, or related fields
Differentials:
Experience with external audit or bank accounting
Knowledge of SQL or Python for exploratory analyses and data manipulation
Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI)
Previous experience in credit risk analysis, prudential risk, or assessment of financial institutions
Familiarity with Central Bank regulation applicable to financial institutions (e.g., Basel framework, CMN Resolution 4966/21)
