About this role
Role Overview
Gather data from internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Clean, organize, and maintain datasets to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Use database management tools to efficiently store, retrieve, and manage data.
Analyze datasets using statistical methods to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or R to communicate findings effectively.
Identify and address business challenges through data-driven solutions and recommendations.
Create and deliver comprehensive reports summarizing key metrics, trends, and actionable insights.
Present findings to stakeholders clearly and concisely, enabling informed decision-making.
Monitor and analyze performance indicators, providing regular updates and insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and gather requirements.
Translate business objectives into clear, actionable data requirements.
Support data-driven decision-making across departments by providing reliable and timely analysis.
Apply predictive modeling, trend analysis, and other statistical techniques to forecast and optimize outcomes.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation through data insights.
Responding in a timely manner to IT related issues and requests.
Installing and configuring computer hardware (printers, scanners, tablets, etc.) and/or software (Office, ERP, Solidworks, etc.).
Providing technical support and training across the company (in person or over the phone, teams).
Creating accounts for new hires and deleting/disabling them upon departure to maintain security.
Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
Testing new technology.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
Experience in data analysis or a related field (or equivalent academic experience).
Ability to work with large datasets and perform data cleaning and manipulation.
Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Experience with databases and querying languages (e.g., SQL).
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
Proficiency with SmartSheet is an asset.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with statistical analysis and modeling.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
