Act as the connection between the business/customer and the team
Prioritize and refine the backlog with a focus on outcomes and feasibility
Write and evolve user stories and acceptance criteria that are clear, testable and value-oriented
Lead refinements, planning, validations and acceptance of deliveries
Ensure functional consistency of deliveries
Evolve capabilities such as pricing, promotions, restrictions and channel-based execution, markdown/clearance, channel-specific pricing
Ensure integration and consistency between the rules engine, product/master data, ERP, POS, e-commerce, CRM/loyalty and analytical layers (BI)
Orchestrate expectations and decisions with areas such as Commercial, Store Operations, Digital/E‑commerce, Controlling, Tax/Regulatory, Marketing/CRM and Data
Run alignment rituals (pricing committee, checkpoints, roadmap reviews) and maintain objective, continuous communication
Define and track metrics such as: gross margin, competitiveness (price index), promo uplift, sell-out, conversion, out-of-stock, omnichannel parity, pricing error, % exceptions, time to publish price
Plan and monitor A/B tests and pilots (by cluster/channel) with Analytics support
Work together with Tax/Regulatory to ensure that pricing rules and processes comply with applicable sector requirements and relevant regulatory changes.
Requirements
Experience as PO/BA/PM working with digital products and squads (ideally in retail, pricing, promotions or data).
Strong practice in:
Backlog: prioritization, refinement, slicing by value, scope negotiation
Acceptance criteria and functional validation with quality
Working with data (KPIs, exploratory analyses, reading dashboards; SQL is a differential)
Experience in omnichannel environments (store + digital) and system dependencies (ERP/POS/e-commerce).
Good communication to handle priority conflicts (margin vs competitiveness vs operational execution).

Familiarity with SAFe (or similar frameworks) at scale and the PO ↔ Product Management interface.
Understanding of elasticity, clustering, cannibalization, psychological pricing, mix/assortment and ABC curve.
