Requirements
Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles related to systems such as steam and condensate, industrial gases, fresh and demineralised water, HVAC, and domestic water services.
Proficiency in digital tools, engineering software, and documentation platforms.
Knowledge of the engineering design lifecycle and its application within complex projects.
Understanding of relevant regulations, legislation, and technical standards for building services design.
Experience working within nuclear or other high-hazard industries.
Level 5 qualification in mechanical engineering or building services, or a Level 4 qualification with substantial relevant experience.
Higher-level qualifications, membership of professional engineering institutions, or specialist building services certifications
Desirable
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance.
