Role Overview
- Provide operational support to the US SC Medical Lead
- Lead efforts on behalf of the SC Medical Affairs Lead to establish / optimize / evolve the Medical team
- Independently lead implementation of new ways of working and ensure dissemination of change management communications
- Serve as key point of coordination and communication between US Medical Affairs, Global Medical Affairs, Operational Excellence Team and Medical Platforms
- Provide strategic guidance to US SC Medical Affairs colleagues focused on the delivery of high priority projects and senior management requests
- Represent the US SC Medical Affairs organization in cross functional forums including commercial teams
- Lead budget management and the Operating Plan development
- Co-lead strategic initiatives focused on equity, digital and critical scientific initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree (e.g., masters) highly preferred.
- Relevant experience required: 8+ years with Bachelor’s degree; 7+ years with Master’s degree
- Strong Decision-Making skills
- Master at resourcefulness with ability to keep pace with a highly changing environment.
- Strong strategic thinking skills and ability to lead/strategic development
- Proven track record for implementation of projects of strategic importance, on time and within budget
- Ability to operate effectively in a heavily matrix organization, with experience managing global projects with team members in multiple locations influence without authority
- Fluent and able to influence others in spoken and written English
