About this role
Role Overview
- Ensures product quality is monitored and tested in compliance with established procedures
- Takes samples and performs tests as prescribed by procedure or specification
- Reports to appropriate personnel on the status of line operation
- Performs requested tests and samples
- Records information in logs and databases
- Completes quality grade using grading standards
- Enters all product identity information into inventory database
- Maintains a safe work environment
- Provides prompt and timely feedback on production-related problems
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2+ years related experience and/or training
- Basic math skills
- Use basic lab equipment
- Good knowledge of computer systems
- Ability to work in refrigerated and frozen environments
- Good communication skills
- Needs to be organized, efficient, and have good time management skills
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
