The candidate will be responsible for exotic plant species identification, treatment and monitoring
This position will require the candidate to safely handle and use herbicides to control exotic plant species
The candidate will be required to operate 4x4 vehicles, UTVs and small utility trailers within the forest
The candidate will also be required to use GPS units, data logs, and paper maps to help locate exotic plant species and to navigate through the forest
The candidate will also assist with maintenance and cleaning of vehicles and equipment assigned to the job
The candidate may be asked to assist in other forestry operations, such as timber marking, forest maintenance, plant and wildlife surveys
Requirements
A high school diploma or its equivalent
Requires possession of a valid class E driver license
Work history, duties and responsibilities, hours worked, supervisor, and formal education fields must be filled out to determine qualifications for this position

Occasional to moderate travel required
