Responsibility for strategic and operational project procurement across the entire project lifecycle
Responsibility for specific product categories and for developing and implementing category strategies as well as supplier/partner management, taking into account cost, quality, delivery performance and risks
Conducting tender processes, bid comparisons and contract negotiations
Selection, evaluation, maintenance and development of suppliers and strategic partners
Close collaboration with Project Management, Engineering, Quality, Logistics and Controlling
Ensuring on-time delivery, budget compliance and supply security in projects, and enforcing internal procurement policies
Analysis of procurement markets and identification of cost-reduction and optimization opportunities
Contract management including framework agreements, product supply and work contracts
Monitoring relevant KPIs and reporting to management
Contributing to the further development of procurement processes and systems
Requirements
University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in project and/or strategic procurement
Experience in category management and supplier development
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Analytical, structured and results-oriented way of working
Confident user of ERP systems (e.g., proAlpha) and MS Office
Business-fluent German and English
High level of initiative, assertiveness and team spirit
Willingness to travel internationally on a limited basis
