Provide in-home intervention to children and their families utilizing skill-based, evidence-based practices to help families implement solutions to problems and strengthen families
Act as a resource, provider & advocate for families to promote child welfare
Utilize collaborative documentation
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with community partners
Maintain an appropriate level of direct contact with families per program requirements and remain available to families 24/7 for crisis intervention as needed
Ensure professionalism through role modeling, and respect
Utilize own vehicle to travel to work destinations and transport youth as authorized, provide services in the community, or the primary home of the child and family
Report and document emergencies and critical incidents involving clients or staff
Participate actively in individual, group, and organizational supervision/training
Requirements
Associate of Arts degree
Two years of full-time experience in human services
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work independently
Knowledge of community resources and service providers in the geographical area
Maintain on-call availability as needed to respond to crisis
