Develop and drive overarching private cloud technology strategies and roadmaps that align with business objectives across multiple platforms and products
Serve as a senior technical authority on private cloud architectures (PCAI, PCBE), engineered systems, & hybrid/multi-cloud models
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to optimize performance, scalability, and usability of enterprise solutions
Lead innovation efforts and guide product engineering teams in delivering cutting-edge solutions and cloud services
Provide architectural guidance and contribute to the design and development of highly complex cloud and enterprise infrastructure systems that are optimized for AI workloads
Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and field teams to incorporate customer feedback and drive product health and roadmap prioritization
Act as a trusted technical advisor to C-level executives, technical leaders, and key customers to address complex workload requirements and architectural challenges
Lead high-stakes technical escalations, customer assessments, and solution design sessions
Translate complex technical concepts into compelling, strategic narratives for diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders
Apply strong business acumen to align technology initiatives with growth and profitability goals
Influence high-level decisions through presentation and advocacy of cloud and AI strategies to internal leadership, partners, and industry forums
Drive sustainable innovation evidenced by patents, successful product deployments, or transformative technology implementations
Requirements
18 + years of progressive technical experience in hybrid or private cloud architecture
Exceptional depth in private cloud architecture, hybrid and multi-cloud integration, & virtualization
Advanced knowledge of software system architecture, distributed systems design, and performance engineering for high-scale environments
Strong leadership skills with a history of mentoring and managing technical teams in complex, ambiguous environments
Excellent communication and influencing skills with demonstrated ability to lead executive presentations, customer negotiations, and technical storytelling
Strategic mindset with the ability to weave financial implications into technology decisions and investments
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline
Experience advising senior executives and influencing product and organizational roadmaps
Documented history of technological innovation including patents and recognized thought leadership
Ability to simplify and communicate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
