Principal Mechanical Design Engineer

Role Overview

• Manage large, complex project initiatives
• Provide guidance to a team of mechanical engineers
• Devise solutions to complex engineering problems
• Work closely with internal and external customers
• Responsible for portions of the design and documentation efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 12 years of prior mechanical design engineering experience
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior mechanical design engineering experience
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior mechanical design engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience with basic material selection
• Proficiency with PTC’s Creo 8.0 or later revision
• Proficiency with ASME Y14.5-1994
