Work as the deputy to the Engineering Manager on a wide range of design projects, applying Systems Engineering techniques and the Amey Engineering Management Manual to define, integrate, and deliver quality engineering solutions.
Coordinate and support verification and validation activities by the discipline design leads.
Prepare and review action logs, project programmes, and ensure cross-discipline interfaces are identified and managed.
Support Engineering Managers and Project Managers using appropriate systems engineering processes and engineering management within the End-to-End Stage Gate process.
Facilitate impact assessments for project changes.
Collaborate with Technical Directors, Practice Leads and Team Leaders to drive technical excellence and continuous improvement on multi-disciplinary projects.
Prepare and review technical reports and programmes of work.
Work with BIM specialists and Information Managers to support coordination, integration and configuration control activities.
Requirements
Engineering Degree at Grade 2:1 or above
A Full UK driving License
