Support stocking and drop‑ship procurement processes in partnership with Product Marketing (PM) and other key stakeholders
Manage and protect company inventory assets to minimize financial exposure (e.g., low‑turn inventory, aging stock, excess levels)
Execute inventory and asset management strategies that drive revenue, profitability, and high internal/external customer and vendor satisfaction
Partner with Product Marketing to analyze and evaluate vendor buy opportunities, including non‑run‑rate purchases, to maximize financial return
Manage inventory performance to meet department targets for on‑hand inventory, days of supply, and aged stock
Develop and execute action plans with PM to mitigate inventory risk, address excess, and manage constraints or low‑turn products
Negotiate exceptional returns and favorable vendor terms to resolve excess inventory and minimize financial exposure
Manage drop‑ship billing to ensure timely, accurate revenue recognition
Ensure compliance with vendor terms and conditions to reduce risk to the business
Minimize price protection exposure and resolve PO disputes or shipment discrepancies with no financial impact to the company
Review vendor scorecards and recommend or implement process and performance improvements
Prepare materials and analysis for SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) reviews
Serve as an escalation point for internal and external customer issues related to inventory and vendor performance
Lead special projects and act as a subject matter expert for inventory and procurement processes
Identify process or automation gaps and recommend improvements to the business
Support onboarding and training of new team members as needed
Requirements
5–8 years of relevant experience in inventory management, procurement, supply chain, or a related field
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to perform and interpret complex mathematical calculations
Demonstrated problem‑solving, critical thinking, and sound decision‑making abilities
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage data accurately and efficiently
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
Proven negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes and present ideas persuasively
Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams, roles, and perspectives
Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Adaptable and able to adjust quickly in a fast‑paced, changing environment
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
High ethical standards with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Advanced proficiency in relevant computer systems and business applications
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, tools, and technologies
