Role Overview
- Oversee the self-pay collections process
- Manage bad debt inventory and placements
- Ensure accurate billing and improve collection strategies
- Provide detailed analysis and reports to leadership
- Conduct reviews of deceased accounts
- Prepare and analyze reports on self-pay aging performance
- Identify opportunities impacting aging self-pay AR
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Provide guidance and support to the self-pay operations team
- Identify and implement process improvements
Requirements
- 1 to 3 Years of work experience
- Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) required within 9 months of hire
- 2 Years/associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- Microsoft Office experience
- Revenue Cycle knowledge
- Critical thinking
