Own and nurture the customer relationship in a team based selling model
Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations and pricing strategies
Measure success by selling to customers, increasing case growth, and acquiring new business
Deliver impactful sales presentations tailored to individual customers
Work collaboratively with Specialists to assist with penetration opportunities and new accounts
Ensure seamless product delivery working closely with marketing, supply chain and customer service
Develop new business by identifying prospective customers utilizing market intelligence databases and business directories
Manage deliveries to the routing schedule published by transportation department

1+ year of sales experience preferred
HS Diploma or equivalent
A valid driver’s license is required, and motor vehicle record must be in good standing
Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities
Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
A competitive spirit with a drive to exceed goals
Problem solving ability / organization and negotiation skills
Tech-savviness – proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus
Have the ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs
