Junior Accountant – IFRS 17, IFRS 9, Subledger Liabilities

Role Overview

• Support the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS 17 and IFRS 9
• Prepare, post, and review closing adjustments in SAP subledger and general ledger systems
• Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations and analyze variances
• Support statutory reporting activities, including reserve adjustment entries where applicable
• Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders and external auditors, responding to inquiries and providing analysis
• Contribute to continuous improvement and finance transformation initiatives

Requirements

• A qualification in finance or accounting (e.g. CMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
• First professional experience in accounting, financial reporting, or finance operations
• Knowledge of (re)insurance accounting and IFRS 17 is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data; solid MS Office knowledge
• A structured, reliable, and proactive working style
• Strong communication skills and fluent English (written and spoken)
• A collaborative mindset and openness to working in an international environment
