About this role
Role Overview
Manage, sell to, and service Scheels by presenting adidas products (both Apparel and Licensed) and driving profitable, sustainable growth
Build and own seasonal assortments informed by sell-out data, insights, and brand direction
Identify growth opportunities and proactively recommend new programs or assortment adjustments
Lead and execute all sell-in meetings, including preparation and sample coordination
Monitor sell-in and sell-through trends and drive in-season actions to maximize profitability
Deliver accurate, insight-driven forecasts that support strong demand planning
Track profitability, credit claims, and compliance issues, resolving challenges quickly and proactively
Build trusted, influential relationships with buyers and key internal partners
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of three years relevant experience; athletic industry preferred
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and initiative
Strong business acumen and ability to use financial data to influence outcomes
Confidence and professionalism in challenging business interactions
Skilled negotiator able to drive win–win outcomes
Clear, agile communicator with strong presentation and storytelling abilities
Advanced organization, planning, and time management skills
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to anticipate and address issues proactively
Ability to build trust-based relationships with a deep understanding of business metrics
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to travel up to 25% and lift samples up to 25 lbs
