Monitor the import process from order submission to material receipt and process closure, acting as an intermediary between Synvia, the customs broker and the exporter. Perform follow-up;
Negotiate prices with exporters, issue purchase orders, send orders and receive commercial documents; liaise with the customs broker to obtain import pricing;
Track processes and provide routine reporting on status and developments;
Coordinate payment scheduling with Finance for foreign exchange settlement and cash payments;
Monitor customs clearance and provide reporting to competent authorities in accordance with material-specific requirements;
Interface with Synvia’s internal Regulatory team for joint reporting and sanitary requests according to the material list.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, International Trade or related fields;
Experience in Import, Purchasing, Supply Chain or Freight Forwarding;
Experience coordinating shipments, freight forwarding or international purchasing;
Experience in strategic negotiation and process management;
Advanced MS Office skills;
Experience with ERP systems.
