About this role
Role Overview
Provide fit-to-standard, clean core end-to-end Service procurement solutions in SAP S4 / SAP Fieldglass and similar applications to various PG&E business functions.
Analyze complex end-to-end business processes and information needs across one or more business functional areas and external entities.
Prepare, present and influence solution proposals to Senior project/IT leadership for alignment and approval.
Design and implement data driven solutions or propose alternative approaches to address business challenges.
Serve as the Services Procurement solutions champion on one or more projects, review deliverables by SI partners/ consultants, and ensure ownership and accountability for delivery on assigned projects.
Document findings from studies, benchmark and prepare recommendations for implementing new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
Collaborate with business teams, technical analysts, architecture and strategy organizations to develop integration strategies and plans for Service Procurement Solutions.
Oversee SAP RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflow) object development in the Supply Chain area for projects, enhancements, and production support.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and obtain business sign-off.
Take responsibility for the overall SAP solution and SAP interfaces with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
Perform additional activities as required by business or project needs.
Maintain industry knowledge of relevant ERP systems; understand future ERP capabilities and roadmap.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
10 years in IT-Information Technology, or other job-related experience
8 years in IT-Information Technology projects, and large projects experience
8 years implementing or supporting an ERP system
Graduate Degree or equivalent experience (desired)
Utility or construction or similar industry experience implementing or supporting complex services procurement solutions including T&M, Milestone-based and lumpsum contracts (desired)
Experience implementing Fieldglass SOW solution with various rate structures (desired)
Implemented SAP S4 Lean services solution with Service Entry Sheet (SES) (desired)
Ability to independently analyze and design solutions for highly complex projects (desired)
Mastery of ERP concepts, principles, and practices across multiple business areas and ERP modules (desired)
Integral involvement in ‘buy versus build’ decisions (desired)
Experience integrating with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool, iCertis or similar (desired).
