Design and define system architecture for new or existing complex integrated test systems
Coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total systems in a laboratory environment
Oversight and ownership of engineering design as well as 2D drawing formats and standards for electrical products
Assist in troubleshooting lab equipment as failures occur
Coordinate between several internal and external stakeholder groups to achieve contractual commitments
Analyze complex electronic circuitry and precision electro-mechanical assemblies through simulation or analysis
Identify, analyze, and solve obsolescence issues
Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules
Generate reports and present to Government counterparts and other cross-functional organizations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a STEM Discipline with 8 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in STEM with 6 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD with 4 years of related engineering experience
Ability to listen effectively, take direction, and possess initiative to accomplish tasks
Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
Experience in Aerospace or Defense industry (development or test)
Experience leading multi-disciplinary technical teams
Ability to diagnose/troubleshoot/repair hardware components
Experience with CAD or similar design tools
Experience with Agile task generation methodologies
Experience mentoring and teaching early career engineers
Your ability to obtain and/or maintain final adjudicated DoD Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required
