Collaborate with the customer, systems engineering leads, architects, software, gateware and test teams to develop concepts of operations, system concept definitions, and to shape and decompose system level requirements.
Initiate research and clearly document results, proactive about identifying gaps and finding solutions.
Demonstrate proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving skills and a Systems Thinking mindset.

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) field and 5 years of related technical experience; Master’s degree in a STEM field and 3 years of related technical experience, or PHD in a STEM field and 1 year of related technical experience.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Experience developing concepts of operation and interface definitions, decomposing and allocating requirements, and translating requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Experience communicating technical topics clearly and guiding technical discussions with cross-functional engineering teams.
Experience with requirements analysis, development, and management.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and other stakeholders.
Experience with system software architecture/design and experience developing software design artifacts.
Experience in full lifecycle of Systems Engineering, including requirements decomposition, test planning, and requirements verification.
Large scale / complex system development experience across multiple phases of a development program: preliminary design, detailed design, integration and test, verification and sell off, transition to production.
Understanding of software development methodologies.
Experience developing and maintaining clear and comprehensive technical documentation for systems and processes.
