Leading technical verification of potential applications – assessing cycle time, payload, reach, and integration risks
Developing and validating applications using UR & MiR technology: performing simulations and feasibility studies, and identifying and mitigating technical risks
Collaborating with sales teams and partners – participating in meetings, customer visits, and line walks, identifying automation potential, and generating qualified opportunities
Building proofs of concept and demonstrations, and delivering training and enablement programmes for partners and integrators
Ensuring CRM transparency – actively using Salesforce, documenting validation statuses, risks, and customer interactions, and reporting line walk outcomes
Working with regional and HQ teams – sharing best practices and market feedback, optimizing existing installations, and taking part in trade fairs, preparing case studies and marketing materials
Requirements
completed higher education in automation, robotics, mechatronics, electronics, or related fields (or equivalent experience)
at least three years in application engineering, industrial automation, robotics, or technical sales support
hands-on knowledge of Universal Robots and/or Mobile Industrial Robots systems
ability to perform feasibility analyses, simulations, and risk assessments
focus on sales and collaboration with customers, sales teams, and partners to identify and develop business opportunities
experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)
excellent communication and presentation skills
independence and accountability with technical recommendations
experience integrating robots with PLC systems, familiarity with simulation tools (e.g., RoboDK, Visual Components)
additional languages (English & German required; another EMEA language is a plus)
