Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control problems
Communicate with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Meet regularly with customers to become familiar with operating problems
Keep customers informed on the nature of service provided, outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, and or replacement
Promote the sale of add-on work
Manage assigned work to meet professional and efficient execution of time and customer satisfaction
Assist in the loading and commissioning of all system and network-level controllers as required
Assist in validation of complete system functionality and troubleshoots problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation
Provide field change information to the project team for the creation of as-built drawings and software
Keep current on safety bulletins and safety field change notices
Operate in a safe manner in accordance with published safety guidelines
Requirements
Associate’s (AA) degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school (or equivalent working experience)
2+ years of experience with HVAC controls or building automation systems field including commissioning and start up
Strong computer skills required
Effective interpersonal and communication skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner
Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people
Authorized to work in Canada and travel to the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
