Own the end-to-end indirect tax compliance process across all U.S. states and applicable international jurisdictions
Prepare, review, and ensure timely filing of Sales and Use Tax, VAT, GST/HST, Excise, Gross Receipts, and Personal Property Tax returns
Monitor and analyze multi-state nexus thresholds, particularly those driven by project-based revenue activities
Maintain exemption certificate compliance and supporting documentation
Respond to state notices, audits, and regulatory inquiries
Manage all tax registrations, state and local business licenses, and regulatory filings across jurisdictions
Ensure all entities remain properly registered and in good standing with state, local, and international authorities
Develop, enhance, and standardize indirect tax and registration processes and internal controls

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in related roles
Strong background in multi-state Sales Tax compliance
Experience consolidating rules and regulation for tax liabilities, payments and returns
Industry experience preferred (Engineering/Architecture)
Strong attention to detail, deadline-oriented, and excellent communication skills
Understanding of GAAP and FAR regulations
Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint systems experience preferred
