About this role
Role Overview
Support the Director of Project Management in managing new and existing client relationships.
Identify and act on cross‑selling opportunities.
Prepare and deliver client presentations.
Serve as the civil engineering subject‑matter expert (SME) for data center development projects.
Lead and oversee civil engineering design efforts.
Manage a team of engineering consultants.
Monitor project progress and enforce safety and quality standards.
Provide technical guidance during construction activities.
Lead a small project management team responsible for planning and executing infrastructure projects.
Provide program‑level oversight of a portfolio of infrastructure projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field; a graduate degree is preferred.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design and project management within the construction or infrastructure industry.
Strong technical expertise in civil engineering design for large-scale developments; data center experience preferred.
Proven experience managing engineering consultants, reviewing technical deliverables, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated ability to manage client accounts effectively and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience leading teams of project managers and technical staff.
Strong understanding of the full construction project life cycle, from early due diligence through design, permitting, and construction.
Business development experience, including identifying cross-selling opportunities and supporting proposal development.
Excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.
Strong knowledge of local civil engineering standards, permitting processes, and construction market conditions.
