Independent review of our products and the processes behind them
Analysis of existing and new products and assessment of commercial viability and market risk
Close collaboration with Controlling and Trading to monitor key figures and trading activities
Development and monitoring of trade controls for deal bookings
Independent monitoring of trading limits
Preparation of ad-hoc analyses and regular reports for management and Risk Committee meetings
Use of methods such as mark-to-market valuations, VaR backtesting, stress tests and scenario analyses

Degree in economics, engineering or a natural science
Minimum of five years' relevant experience in assessing market risks in the energy sector
Communication in German and English, both spoken and written
Deep knowledge of market risks and solid experience with VaR calculations and stress testing
Confident use of MS Office and advanced programming skills in Python or similar languages
Strong numerical affinity, precise analytical skills and extensive experience with statistical methods and metrics
Responsible, independent, team-oriented and willing to take on own areas of responsibility
