Analyzing and monitoring the life cycle of purchased products and services of costs and quality of contractual partners such as Bloomberg, Reuters, MSCI, Sustainalytics, etc.
Supporting the purchase department with cost and quality analyses of external services in the fund business in order to increase the effectiveness of purchases and the quality of contracts or licenses regarding e.g. outsourcing, third-party consulting, terminals, market or risk data, etc.
Collaboration on strategic and operational issues relating to cost optimization in cooperation with suppliers worldwide
Opinion-forming advice for stakeholders at headquarters and in subsidiaries worldwide
Analysis of business inquiries and offers for new products or services and troubleshooting when problems arise
Controlling the proper use of data worldwide and advising users on compliance
Periodical reporting, also ad hoc reporting to the senior management
Collaboration on project tasks to optimize tools and processes in the department.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's in Banking & Finance or Controlling
Professional experience at the bank in cost or contract controlling or as a bank auditor auditing contracts
Knowledge of the services of contractual partners such as Bloomberg, Reuters, MSCI, Sustainalytics, etc.
