Collaborate with the Regulatory Team in interpreting global regulations.
Assist internal & external stakeholders with regulatory compliance.
Support new product development and evaluation.
Prepare and review regulatory documents (Safety Data Sheets and Product Labels).
Ensure product safety and regulatory compliance for paints and coatings in North America.
Monitor changes to regulatory requirements, such as VOC regulations for the US and Canada, and share information with team members.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide a regulatory perspective for ongoing and upcoming initiatives within the organization.
Represent Benjamin Moore in industry groups (ACA).
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Science in Chemistry, Biology, Occupational or Public Health and Safety, Toxicology, Environmental Science, or a related field is required.
3+ years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, Product Safety, Product Compliance, or EHS
Knowledge of paint or chemical processing is desirable.
Strong knowledge of Global Harmonized System (GHS)
Knowledge of domestic and international chemical regulatory compliance
Experience in SDS & Label generation.
Hands-on experience with regulatory compliance software.
Working knowledge of Transport Classification Regulations (US and Canada) is desirable.
Ability to adapt to a fast-changing regulatory environment.
Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate in a team environment.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in typical Office software.
