The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for aggressively sourcing and recruiting top-performing candidates for management and craft positions
Utilize a variety of resources, such as job posting outlets, social media, and working within our current workforce to source and hire talent
Ensure that Astreya attracts, hires, and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline
Develop a detailed knowledge of the company’s culture to create a unique and comprehensive strategy to hiring
Communicate and embrace the career development opportunities that Astreya embodies
Facilitate initial communications and screening interviews so managers are only meeting the most qualified candidates
Proactively communicate with Astreya managers and staff to utilize our employee database and further expand our reach
Participate in completing daily HR duties including postings, sourcing, referrals, interviews, offers, and handoffs
Create and manage social media postings as related to recruitment and company culture
Research the current industries recruiting strategies and refine ours to be on the cutting edge
Coordinate travel for potential candidates for interviews
Attend and/or facilitate career fairs at select universities or other venues
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Builds productive internal and external working relationships
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
Understanding of how to use social media to attract and engage active and passive technical talent
Proficient user of MS Office, including Outlook and Excel
