Develops, writes, and edits proposal responses of minimal to moderate complexity
Analyze each RFP and RFI assigned
Complete each RFP and RFI assigned: review and interpret key proposal requirements and identify issues or concerns that need resolution prior to submission of response
Manage internal communication related to each project (e.g., host proposal kick-off call, maintain files on SharePoint, clear communication with internal stakeholders, etc.)
Utilize proposal database and proposal department processes to respond to RFPs and RFIs
Work with proposal management to implement edits and ensure responses are accurate
Interface and coordinate with underwriting to support completion of MedImpact pricing within the proposal files and RFP questions
Proofread and perform quality assurance checks on all documents to ensure proposals are properly completed, packaged, and submitted in a timely manner
Complete multiple, similar projects with competing deadlines simultaneously
Requirements
BS/BA and 3+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency in MS Office suite (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
Outstanding writing, editing, and communication skills
Ability to handle multiple deadlines and work well under pressure
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
