Role Overview
- Prioritize vulnerabilities based on severity, risk level, exposure, and potential impact on the organization’s operations
- Provide vulnerability and/or misconfiguration remediation guidance risk-awareness for common vulnerabilities
- Contribute to the improvement and enhancement of vulnerability reporting
- Escalate significant vulnerabilities that are past due to leadership
- Assess and provide guidance on potential false positives
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- Cybersecurity Vulnerability Management and OS Hardening practices for Windows, Linux, and network equipment
- In-depth understanding of common operating systems such as Windows and Linux
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure Cloud assets
- Technical Cyber Security Certification through one of the recognized bodies preferred: SANS, ISACA, (ICS)2
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
