Assist facilities engineers with preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
Support routine inspections, equipment monitoring, and basic troubleshooting activities under supervision.
Help maintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment records.
Participate in capital improvement projects, tenant improvement coordination, and facility upgrades.
Assist with project documentation, vendor coordination, and progress tracking.
Support cost analysis and budget preparation activities.
Help monitor building automation systems and energy management platforms.
Assist with work order processing, vendor management, and contractor oversight.
Support emergency response procedures and after-hours coordination when needed.
Maintain facility drawings, equipment manuals, and operational procedures.
Assist with energy consumption analysis, sustainability reporting, and compliance documentation.
Help prepare presentations and reports for property management teams.
Involved in launching various improvement and savings programs that will benefit both us and our clients.
Contribute to the creation of engineering service delivery standards.
Help in the planning, implementation, and review of site-specific processes and protocols.
Work with a team to ensure that all performance targets set out in the contract are being met.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Maintenance Engineering, Building Surveying, Facilities Management, or related field.
Minimum junior standing preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
Basic understanding of building systems and construction principles.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in team environments.
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in Facilities Management, Building Surveying, Property Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
Basic understanding of facilities management principles and building operations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
