Own Saltz.App expansion in your city — identify and reach out to new venues, meet chefs and managers, demonstrate the app, and support their orders across establishments from cozy lunch spots to Michelin-level restaurants.
Work out in the field, visiting restaurants and kitchens to introduce chefs and owners to a marketplace that genuinely simplifies their operations.
Conduct 10–15 meetings per week and manage the full sales cycle from cold outreach to first order, including on-site pitches, follow-ups, and reporting.
Plan and optimize your weekly schedule to consistently meet or exceed targets while reporting directly to the Head of Field Sales.
Demonstrate our application to chefs and managers in their own environment, showing how Saltz makes ordering simple, reliable, and efficient.
Keep accurate notes and track activity in our CRM (HubSpot) so the team can support you and leverage your insights.
As a senior team member, mentor and coach new hires, share best practices, and help them ramp up quickly.
Play a key role in launching in new cities to help grow our presence effectively.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience, ideally in field sales and/or at a scaling startup.
Proven ability to manage the entire sales process: cold acquisition, on-site presentations, follow-ups, and closing deals.
Energetic and motivated to be in the field, building face-to-face relationships with chefs and managers.
Strong mentoring skills with experience onboarding and guiding less experienced team members.
Confident leading conversations, active listening, problem solving, and closing deals.
Familiarity with CRM systems, ideally HubSpot, for reporting and pipeline management.
Ability to adapt quickly and perform: within 2 months you should be consistently reaching targets.
Excellent spoken and written German and English skills. Additional languages are a plus.
