About this role
Role Overview
- Collaborate with technical product managers and engineers to design experiences that drive revenue and enhance customer retention
- Build and maintain multiple prototypes, POCs, and MVPs while understanding how HTML, JavaScript, and CSS inform interaction decisions
- Integrate GenAI into production solutions and use AI tools to streamline the design-to-code pipeline
- Plan and implement user research strategies using qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including interviews and usability tests
- Create process flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, illustrations, animations, and icons
- Serve as an SME for customer experience, coaching other designers and leading discussions on UX/UI standards
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a UI designer, interaction designer, or similar role
- BA/BS in graphic design, psychology, HCI, or a related field
- A strong online portfolio demonstrating past work, extensive data visualization, and user-centered design solutions is required
- Expert proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Miro, and Adobe XD
- Competent command of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Proficiency in UserZoom, Hotjar, Optimal Workshop, UXPin, Excel, SPSS, Python, and Google BigQuery
- Experience working with detailed data and analytics engines
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS) to guide interaction decisions
- Experience with Design Systems, atomic design methodology, and Accessibility/Inclusive design
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and explain business needs to technical personnel.
