Identifies compliance risks and engages appropriate stakeholders around risk awareness and mitigation in area(s) of focus.
Provides support to ensure actions/outcomes are aligned across all levels of the organization.
Collaborates with internal stakeholders, as well as external resources, to ensure all compliance related matters are appropriately understood and enforced.
Participates in strategic initiative discussions as a compliance subject matter expert; provides guidance and input on new and existing state and federal laws and regulations that may impact strategy.
Oversees the activities that influence the compliance and/or risk programs for area(s) of focus and ensures team alignment with company goals, processes, and values.
Coaches and develops team talent and capabilities, responsible for development of necessary performance plans.
Ensures company-wide regulatory training and education activities are effective and meet regulatory expectations in area(s) of focus.
May represent the organization to regulators and other entities in government compliance matters.

Requirements
8 year’s work experience in legal, compliance, insurance or related relevant work experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)
